Photo Diary

I have to do a project for school where I do a photo diary.  I have to take two photos a day.
Here I go.  I got a little carried away.

This is what I do instead of socializing

My roommate left and I got excited and took photos.

City Life

I haven’t written in a while but I’m so in the mood.
I just moved into the city on Sunday.  New York is my new home away from home for now, hopefully for the next four years.
It’s 1:30 am right now.  The city is still buzzing with noise.  Cars are non-stop, honking never subsides, I heard a construction vehicle before, and all of these noises are accompanied by police sirens at all hours.  This city really does never sleep, it almost makes me want to stay awake or else I  might miss something.
This place makes me feel so small though.  I looked out my window before and all I could see were little lit up squares along the building beside me.  People moved around in each square, eating, watching television, rummaging through their items.  From my own little square on the opposite side of the street, I could look into their little lives.  But what made me feel even smaller was the fact that there were so many squares stacked on top of each other, lining the whole block.  And from what seemed like my significant life, I could see I was just another person crammed into this whirlwind of a place.
My goal seems even harder to attain now,  Trying to make yourself just slightly more significant than the millions of people coming and going through this place.

Going to start posting my better work here :)
